Summary

This Special Issue explores the complex interplay of protective and risk factors influencing mental health in children, school-aged youth, and adolescents. From early childhood through late adolescence, mental health is shaped by individual, relational, and contextual variables. Contributions to this issue will examine factors such as emotional competence, family dynamics, school climate, peer relationships, trauma exposure, and socio-cultural stressors. The aim is to advance evidence-based insights and interdisciplinary approaches that support early identification, prevention, and intervention efforts across educational and clinical settings. By bringing together diverse perspectives, this collection seeks to inform practices and policies that promote resilience and psychological well-being in young populations.
