Summary
In the digital age, the nature of human relationships has undergone profound changes, reshaping the way individuals connect, communicate and develop their sense of self. This special issue aims to explore the complex interplay between significant relationships, mental health and the evolving digital landscape. By integrating perspectives from clinical psychology, psychotherapy, and digital mental health, the issue seeks to deepen our understanding of how relational dynamics influence mental well-being in an increasingly connected world. It will also highlight emerging clinical interventions that use digital tools to improve therapeutic outcomes. We invite papers that address theoretical, empirical and applied perspectives on this topic. Papers may explore the impact of digital communication on relationships and mental health, the role of online and offline support systems, and innovative digital interventions in clinical and non-clinical settings.
