Summary
In contemporary society, growing interest in healthy living and overall well-being has led to increasing research attention toward the influence of exercise, sports, and various lifestyle factors on human health. In particular, physical activity and exercise have been widely recognized as important contributors not only to physical health but also to mental health, quality of life, and overall well-being. In recent years, greater emphasis has also been placed on lifestyle-related factors such as sleep, nutrition, recovery, and health behaviors as essential components of health promotion and preventive healthcare.
At the same time, rapid advancements in wearable technologies, digital health, artificial intelligence (AI), and big data analytics are further expanding the scope of health- and exercise-related research. These emerging technologies have created new opportunities for personalized healthcare and preventive health promotion strategies across diverse populations and settings.
Accordingly, this Special Issue, entitled “Exercise, Sports, and Lifestyle Research for Healthy Living,” aims to present a broad range of contemporary research perspectives that contribute to the promotion of health and well-being. Through this issue, we seek to highlight current advances and practical insights related to exercise, sports, and lifestyle factors that support healthier and more sustainable living.
