The rapid evolution of AI-native networks is transforming future communication and computing infrastructures by embedding intelligence directly into network operations, management, and service delivery. Emerging paradigms such as Agentic AI, Quantum-Inspired Learning, and Distributed Intelligence offer unprecedented opportunities to enable autonomous decision-making, adaptive optimization, and self-managing network ecosystems.
This Special Issue aims to explore the theoretical foundations, architectures, algorithms, and real-world applications of autonomous decision-making in AI-native networks. Particular emphasis is placed on intelligent agents capable of perception, reasoning, planning, and autonomous action, as well as quantum-inspired techniques for optimization, resource allocation, and large-scale decision-making. The issue also welcomes contributions on distributed intelligence frameworks that support scalable, resilient, secure, and energy-efficient networked systems.
