In an era dominated by rapid digital content creation and sophisticated cyber threats, ensuring the integrity and authenticity of multimedia data has become a critical pillar of global cybersecurity. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Intelligent Optimization is essential to developing resilient defense mechanisms that can safeguard digital assets against unauthorized manipulation and forgery.
This Special Issue aims to explore the convergence of AI and intelligent systems to enhance multimedia security. We seek original research that utilizes computational intelligence, including nature-inspired optimization and deep learning, to improve the robustness and imperceptibility of data-hiding techniques. The scope encompasses the development of advanced algorithms for secure image transmission, forensic analysis, and the optimization of multimedia compression. By addressing the trade-off between security and system performance, this issue provides a platform for researchers to present innovative solutions for protecting digital content in complex, real-world environments.
To provide a comprehensive overview of the field, the Special Issue will focus on the following themes:
· Intelligent Watermarking and Steganography: Leveraging optimization algorithms (e.g., Artificial Bee Colony, Genetic Algorithms) to enhance payload capacity and robustness in digital media.
· AI-Driven Multimedia Forensics: Developing deep learning models for the detection of "Deepfakes," image tampering, and unauthorized content synthesis.
· Optimization in Secure Data Hiding: Utilizing metaheuristic approaches to achieve the optimal balance between visual quality and security in encrypted multimedia.
· Robust Signal Processing for Security: Advanced transforms (DCT, DWT, etc.) and numerical methods for secure and efficient multimedia compression and transmission.
· Privacy-Preserving AI for Multimedia: Exploring federated learning and cryptographic techniques to secure multimedia data within distributed AI systems.
· Intelligent Systems for Biometric Security: Enhancing the reliability and security of biometric templates (facial, iris, or fingerprint) using intelligent optimization.
