Summary

This special issue will focus on the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), with a particular emphasis on Generative AI technologies and their diverse applications across disciplines. AI has evolved from rule-based systems to complex deep learning models, and more recently, the rise of Generative AI has reshaped how we approach problem-solving across various fields. This issue seeks to explore cutting-edge research in Generative AI techniques, such as generative adversarial networks (GANs), transformers, and neural language models like GPT. It will cover their applications in domains such as natural language processing, computer vision, data synthesis, automated content generation, and AI-driven creative processes.We also aim to explore the challenges and solutions in deploying AI and Generative AI technologies at scale, including considerations of computational efficiency, ethical concerns, bias mitigation, and integration into real-world systems. By addressing these topics, this special issue will offer insights into how AI and Generative AI are transforming industries, such as healthcare, smart city development, contributing to innovation and societal progress.

    Abstract This study systematically reviews the applications of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) in breast cancer research, focusing on its role in diagnosis and therapeutic development. While GAI has gained significant attention across various domains, its utility in breast cancer research has yet to be comprehensively reviewed. This study aims to fill that gap by synthesizing existing research into a unified document.
