Summary

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a candidate enabler of the emerging Internet of Vehicle Systems. The enormous potential in AI can be exploited to aid the design and implementation of cutting-edge Internet of Vehicle Systems, addressing critical challenges, such as latency, interference, and reliability in these systems. When designing Internet of Vehicle Systems, it is essential to account for the limitations of the systems, hardware impairment, security vulnerabilities, and latency, among others. However, designing such mission-critical systems can be challenging, expensive, and computationally demanding. Toward this end, there is a need to deploy AI-based solutions to aid the design, implementation, and management of Internet of Vehicle Systems.

This special issue focuses on new AI-based applications in the general framework of Internet of Vehicle Systems. Specifically, the special issue aims to provide a forum for collecting the latest research findings and high-quality works on the novel applications of artificial intelligence in Internet of Vehicles Systems.

The topics are, but not limited to, the following:
· AI for reliable communications in internet of vehicles systems
· AI for computation offloading in internet of vehicles systems
· AI for edge service optimization on the internet of vehicles
· AI for energy efficiency optimization in internet of vehicles systems
· AI for signal processing in internet of vehicles systems.
· AI for optimal hardware design of internet of vehicles systems.
