Summary

The discovery and development of novel antitumor agents remain at the forefront of cancer research. This special issue aims to highlight recent advances in identifying potent compounds with demonstrated antitumor activity and elucidating their underlying molecular mechanisms.

We welcome original research and reviews that explore new therapeutic targets, signaling pathways, immune modulation, tumor microenvironment interactions, and strategies that enhance chemosensitivity or overcome resistance. Emphasis will be placed on translational studies with clear relevance to clinical oncology, including in vitro, in vivo, and preclinical investigations. Submissions addressing combination therapies and immune checkpoint modulation are particularly encouraged.
