Danial Jahed Armaghani, University of Technology Sydney


Dr. Danial Jahed Armaghani is a Research Fellow at the School of Civil, Environmental and Sociotechnical Engineering, University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia. His research focuses on geotechnical and underground engineering, with particular expertise in tunnel boring machines (TBMs), rock mechanics,  machine learning, optimisation techniques, and risk assessment. He has authored more than 400 scientific publications, received over 32,000 citations, and has been recognised among Stanford University's World's Top 2% Scientists since 2020. He has recognised by the Australian's Research Magazine 2026 as a Research Leader in Environmental & Geological Engineering. Dr. Armaghani serves on the editorial boards of several international journals and has received multiple awards for his research, publications, and peer-review contributions.

Ching-Lung Fan, Republic of China Military Academy


Ching-Lung Fan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Republic of China Military Academy, Taiwan. He received his Ph.D. from National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology in 2019. His research interests include machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, UAV remote sensing, geospatial artificial intelligence (GeoAI), data mining, and applications in construction engineering.

Dr. Fan's research focuses on integrating artificial intelligence with civil engineering and geospatial technologies to develop innovative solutions for infrastructure inspection, construction quality prediction, damage detection, land-use classification, and intelligent decision-making. His work has been published extensively in leading international SCI journals, including Automation in Construction, Journal of Construction Engineering and Management (ASCE), Measurement, Solar Energy, ISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information, Structural Control and Health Monitoring, and CMC–Computers, Materials & Continua. His research has advanced AI-driven methodologies for infrastructure monitoring, remote sensing, and construction management.

In recognition of his research achievements, Dr. Fan has received several academic honors, including the CMES 2025 Young Researcher Award, the Best Researcher Award, and election to Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society. He continues to promote interdisciplinary research that bridges artificial intelligence, geospatial technologies, and sustainable civil engineering.

Ashish Rayal, Uttaranchal University


Dr. Ashish Rayal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, School of Applied and Life Sciences, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics in 2021 from Gurukul Kangri University, Haridwar, India. His research interests include fractional calculus, wavelet theory, numerical methods, mathematical modelling, and computational approaches. He has published more than 42 research papers in reputed SCI and Scopus-indexed journals, published by leading international publishers, including Springer, Elsevier, and Tech Science Press. He is also the inventor of more than 18 patents and has authored several book chapters. Dr. Rayal has completed several NPTEL certifications in pure and applied mathematics and has been recognized as an NPTEL Discipline Star for his commitment to continuous learning and academic excellence. Dr. Rayal actively serves as a reviewer for several international journals and regularly presents his research at national and international conferences.  With an h-index of 15 and an i10-index of 23, He continue to contribute significantly to interdisciplinary research, innovation, and advancements in applied mathematics.


This award celebrates their exceptional contributions to advancing engineering sciences.
