The dynamic interaction between moving vehicles and bridge structures poses significant challenges and opportunities in modern civil and transportation engineering. This special issue aims to highlight recent advancements in computational modeling, simulation techniques, and experimental validation related to vehicle-bridge interaction. We invite original research articles and review papers that contribute to the understanding and development of robust, accurate, and efficient modeling methods in this field.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
· Coupled dynamic modeling of vehicle-bridge systems
· Computational methods for real-time simulation and monitoring
· Vibration analysis and control in vehicle-bridge interaction
· Fatigue and damage assessment under moving loads
· AI and machine learning applications in bridge dynamics
· Validation of models through experimental or field data
· Impact of high-speed rail and multi-vehicle loading scenarios
