Summary
Cancer drug resistance remains a major obstacle to effective and durable cancer treatment. Despite advances in targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and precision oncology, intrinsic and acquired resistance frequently limit therapeutic efficacy and contribute to tumor progression and metastasis. Recent developments in molecular oncology, tumor microenvironment research, and pharmacogenomics have significantly improved our understanding of resistance mechanisms and revealed new opportunities for therapeutic intervention.
This Special Issue will focus on experimental and translational studies investigating the molecular basis of drug sensitivity and resistance, as well as novel strategies to improve therapeutic outcomes. Topics of interest include targeted therapies, biomarkers, tumor heterogeneity, non-coding RNAs, immunotherapy, pharmacogenomics, and therapeutic evaluation.
By integrating cancer biology and therapeutic innovation, this Special Issue aims to provide a multidisciplinary platform that advances precision oncology research.
