Summary

The field of oncology is undergoing a paradigm shift driven by the rapid integration of molecular profiling, bioinformatics, artificial intelligence (AI), and precision-targeted therapies. These innovations are transforming cancer care - from early diagnosis and patient stratification to treatment response prediction and the development of novel therapeutic strategies, including cancer vaccines.

This special issue of Oncology Research aims to highlight cutting-edge advances at the intersection of computational science, molecular oncology, and personalized medicine. We invite original research articles, comprehensive reviews, clinical studies, and translational investigations that explore how emerging technologies and multi-omics data are shaping the future of cancer diagnosis, prognosis, and therapy.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
• Precision oncology approaches integrating genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and metabolomic data
• Applications of AI and machine learning in cancer detection, outcome prediction, and treatment optimization
• Innovative bioinformatics platforms and computational pipelines for oncological research
• Development and clinical translation of targeted therapies and combination treatment strategies
• Advances in cancer immunotherapy and therapeutic vaccine design
• Personalized treatment algorithms and decision-support tools in clinical oncology

We warmly invite researchers, clinicians, and data scientists from across the oncology community to contribute their latest findings, share their clinical experiences, and present visionary perspectives that will shape the next era of cancer medicine.
