Abstract Arteriovenous fistula (AVF) is the endorsed method of vascular access for hemodialysis in end-stage renal disease (ESRD). However, more than 60% of AVF fail to mature for hemodialysis. Intimal hyperplasia leads to stenosis is the primary cause of fistula failure. Wall shear stress (WSS) is one of the important parameters that enact a crucial role in building of intimal hyperplasia. The prime purpose of this research work is to investigate the effect of anastomosis angle on WSS, pressure drop, venous outflow rate and identify the optimal angle of anastomosis of AVF, so that it helps to standardize the surgical technique.… More >

Abstract Purpose: In order to satisfy the requirements of Chinese Para seated cross-country skiers special training for Double poling scientifically, and the individualized strength training of Paralympic athletes, this study aims to explore the effect of the full-dimensional servo-driven intelligent training system on para cross-country skiers’ strength training. Methods: 12 Para seated cross-country skiing athletes were included (6 males and 6 females: LW10.5-LW12), 4 weeks of training of the Double poling based on the centripetal isotonic mode of the full-dimensional servo-driven intelligent training system, the special strength quality indicators include the speed and power of the Double poling in the centripetal… More >

Abstract Cancer is the second biggest cause of death globally, and the use of therapeutic peptides to specifically target and destroy cancer cells has gotten much interest. Cancer peptides or vaccinations are utilized to treat cancer nowadays, apart from chemotherapy, which has significant discomfort, side effects and costly. It is time demanding to identify and predict potential anticancer peptides using computational biology approaches. Thus, 3-D molecular modeling is being used to find possible ACP candidates. In this research, Curcuma longa has predicted peptide sequences were docked on breast cancer receptors and used a molecular docking technique to assess the anticipated peptides’… More >

Abstract The umbilical cord is a vital structure between the fetus and placenta for the growth and well-being of the fetus. Although the umbilical cord may be the only organ that dies at the beginning of life, it is one of the most important parts of the feta-placental unit and plays a role in determining how life begins. In general, the prenatal examination of the umbilical cord is limited to the observation of the number of vessels and the evaluation of umbilical artery blood flow parameters. Pathologists have done more research on the morphological characteristics of the umbilical cord and linked… More >

Abstract Introduction: Footwork is one of the training contents that table tennis players and coaches focus on. This study aimed to gain a thorough understanding of the muscle activity of the table tennis footwork and creating a musculoskeletal model to investigate the muscle forces, joint kinematic, and joint kinetic characteristics of the footwork during topspin forehand stroke. Methods: Six male table tennis athletes (height: 171.98 ± 4.97 cm; weight: 68.77 ± 7.86 kg; experience: 10.67 ± 1.86 years; age: 22.50 ± 1.64 years) performed chasse step and one-step footwork to return the ball from the coach by topspin forehand stroke.
