Summary

Prostate cancer is one of the most prevalent malignancies in men, and radiotherapy has evolved rapidly with the development of advanced imaging technologies. Innovations such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), adaptive radiotherapy, and artificial intelligence (AI) have greatly improved treatment precision and personalized patient management. This Special Issue aims to highlight recent advances in image-guided radiotherapy for prostate cancer, with a particular focus on novel imaging techniques, treatment optimization, and emerging technologies that are shaping the future of precision radiation oncology.

Suggested themes include, but are not limited to:
· The development of radiation therapy for prostate cancer
· The evolution from conventional fractionation to stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT)
· The emergence of MRI and advanced imaging in prostate radiotherapy
· MRI-guided radiotherapy
· SBRT and ultrahypofractionation
· Adaptive radiotherapy and the application of artificial intelligence in imaging, contouring, and treatment planning
